When people talk about what H.O.K can do, it’s hard to know where to start. The London-born artist has been creating since he was 15, building worlds through sound that reflect every part of who he is. After building momentum in Coventry with tracks like “Phone Calls” and “Selfish,” H.O.K took a step back, only to return sharper than ever with “Understand.” During his short but loud 2024 comeback, he introduced his first live concept — FRANK LASEXXX — a chaotic, cinematic performance piece where reality blurs with art. Through Frank, H.O.K brings his audience into a world that mirrors his own: messy, surreal, and full of truth. The next instalment in the series, “Frank Needs Rent Money,” is already in the works.

H.O.K doesn’t like labels, calling his sound “genre ambiguous.” It shifts from dusty samples to warped synths, pulling energy from across eras and influences. While some compare his vision to artists like Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, or Tyler, The Creator, his real inspiration sits closer to the experimental roots of Aphex Twin, Portishead, and Björk — artists who made emotion and experimentation inseparable. His sound feels familiar but forward-thinking — nostalgic in tone, new in approach.

A bold, immersive world that explores autonomy, identity, and self-expression through music, film, and performance.
